How Does Your Work Feel?
Hey there! Today we're going to explore how you feel about your "work." For you, this might mean school, homework, chores, or any activities you put effort into regularly.
Your Mission:
- Find a quiet, comfortable spot where you won't be disturbed.
- Take a few deep breaths to relax and clear your mind.
- Now, think about your "work" (school, homework, chores, etc.).
- Pay attention to how your body feels when you think about your work. Do you feel anything in your stomach? Your shoulders? Your chest?
- Try to find one word that describes this feeling. It could be something like "excited," "heavy," "buzzing," or "tight."
- Write down this word and any others that come to mind when you think about your work.
Tip: There's no right or wrong answer here. Your feelings are unique to you!
Here are some questions to help you dig deeper:
- If your feeling about work had a color, what would it be?
- If it were a weather, would it be sunny, cloudy, stormy, or something else?
- If it were an animal, which animal would it be?
Write down your answers to these questions too. They might surprise you!
Remember, feelings about work can change over time. It's okay if you're not always excited about school or chores. The important thing is to notice how you feel and think about why you might feel that way.
