QMAK Terms of Service

Last updated: Oct 18, 2026

1. Agreement to these Terms

By creating an account on qmak.com, purchasing a QMAK membership, or using any QMAK materials, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not register or use QMAK. These Terms are an agreement between you and QMAK (“QMAK”, “we”, “us”, “our”). Our Privacy Policy, at the end of this page, explains how we handle your information and forms part of these Terms. By ticking the box at registration, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms.

2. Who can register

QMAK accounts are for parents, legal guardians and adult educators. To register, you must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement.
  • Account Holder means the adult who registers and is responsible for the account.
  • Your Household means the Account Holder and the children and other family members living in the same home.
  • Materials means everything QMAK provides: curriculum guides, courses, printables, worksheets, flashcards, songs, videos, browser games, and website content.
Children may use QMAK Materials under the supervision of the Account Holder. Children must not create their own accounts. The Account Holder is responsible for everything done on the account, including by children.

3. Your Lifetime Family Membership

A Lifetime Family Membership gives Your Household ongoing access to the QMAK Materials available through your account, for as long as QMAK operates the platform. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access, download, print and use the Materials for the education of the children in Your Household.
  • “Lifetime” means the lifetime of the QMAK platform, not the lifetime of any person.
  • We add, update, reorganise and sometimes retire Materials as the curriculum develops. Access to any particular guide, course or feature is not guaranteed forever.
  • New Materials we add to the membership library are included at no extra cost, unless we clearly offer them as a separate product.
  • If QMAK ever closes the platform, we will give members reasonable notice and a chance to download Materials available to them.
Your membership is a licence to use the Materials. It does not transfer ownership of any Materials to you.

4. Payment and refunds

The Lifetime Family Membership is a one-time payment. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay, in the currency displayed.
  • Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store your full card details.
  • We may change the membership price for new purchases at any time. Price changes never affect a membership you have already bought.
  • Refunds: If you are not satisfied, email support@qmak.com within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. After 14 days, payments are non-refundable.
  • If you dispute a charge or request a chargeback without first contacting us, we may suspend the account while the matter is resolved.
Nothing in these Terms removes any rights you have under consumer protection laws that apply to you and cannot be excluded.

5. Your account

One membership covers one household. Please keep your login details private.
  • Do not share your login with people outside Your Household, including other families, co-ops, schools or tutoring businesses.
  • Do not sell, transfer or give away your membership.
  • Give accurate information when you register, and keep your email address up to date so we can reach you.
  • Tell us straight away if you think someone has used your account without permission.
Homeschool co-ops, schools and educators who want to use QMAK with children from more than one household should contact us about a group licence.

6. QMAK’s materials and how you may use them

All QMAK Materials, including guides, courses, songs, videos, games, illustrations, the QMAK name and logo, and the Developmental Growth Objectives (DGO) framework, are owned by QMAK and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may:
  • Print and photocopy Materials for the children in Your Household
  • Save copies on your own devices for household use
  • Write notes on, adapt or fill in printed Materials for your own teaching
  • Share photos of your children’s completed work on social media, provided full guides are not reproduced
You may not:
  • Share, upload, email or post Materials (or your login) to anyone outside Your Household
  • Sell, resell, license or include Materials in any paid or free product, course or bundle
  • Upload Materials to file-sharing sites, shared drives, group chats or online communities
  • Remove or alter QMAK branding, copyright notices or watermarks
  • Use Materials to train artificial intelligence models, or copy them into AI tools to recreate QMAK content
  • Copy, scrape or systematically download content from the website
If you share something you create about QMAK (such as a review or a blog post), you may quote short extracts and link to qmak.com.

7. Films, games and other third-party content

Many QMAK guides are companions to films, TV episodes, documentaries, books and video games made by other people. QMAK does not provide, stream or sell these works.
  • You are responsible for obtaining films, episodes, games and books legally, for example through streaming services, purchase, rental or your library.
  • All film, show, game and book titles, characters and trademarks belong to their respective owners. QMAK is not affiliated with or endorsed by them, and our guides are independent educational commentary.
  • Grade placements are our recommendation only. Please preview films and games and decide what suits your own children, values and circumstances. Content ratings may differ between countries.
  • Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of those websites.

8. Your role as your child’s educator

QMAK is an educational resource for families. You remain in charge of your children’s education and wellbeing.
  • Homeschooling laws differ by country, state and region. You are responsible for meeting any registration, reporting, assessment or curriculum requirements where you live. QMAK does not guarantee that its Materials satisfy any government or accreditation standard.
  • QMAK is not an accredited school and does not issue diplomas, transcripts or formal qualifications.
  • Our Materials share ideas about thinking, character, wellbeing, money and business. They are general education, not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice for your family.
  • Every child learns differently. We do not promise any particular learning, academic or personal outcome.
  • Supervise your children’s online activity, including use of QMAK games and links to other websites.

9. Acceptable use, suspension and termination

Please use QMAK respectfully and lawfully. You must not:
  • Break any law, or infringe anyone’s rights, while using QMAK
  • Interfere with the website’s security or operation, or try to access areas you are not authorised to use
  • Use bots, scrapers or automated tools to access or copy the website
  • Post or send anything abusive, harmful or misleading through QMAK’s comments, forms or community spaces
We may suspend or close an account, without refund, if the Account Holder seriously or repeatedly breaches these Terms, especially by sharing logins or distributing Materials. Where reasonable, we will contact you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Sections 6, 10 and 11 continue to apply after an account is closed. Affiliates are also bound by the separate QMAK Affiliate Agreement.

10. Disclaimers and limits on liability

We work hard to make QMAK accurate, useful and available, but we provide the website and Materials “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
  • QMAK is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of data, time or opportunity, arising from your use of QMAK.
  • QMAK’s total liability to you for any claim relating to QMAK is limited to the amount you paid for your membership.
